‘Providing direction & coordination for the collaborative activities of local providers of community care services’ 

The Hume Region Alliance was originally established to support Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) providers across the Hume Aged Care Planning Region. It is a key forum for communication and collaboration between funded organisations in the region as well as a conduit between the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) and the funded sector.

The Sector Development Team members bring local issues to the Hume Region Alliance forums for discussion, consideration and action as relevant. Issues in relation to regional system wide matters are collated by the Sector Development Team and raised with DoHAC.
